Why do some patterns resist change? We name the gap between insight and resolution — and why it matters for your work with clients.
The mechanism
When a memory is reactivated, there is a window in which it can be updated — not suppressed or managed, but genuinely changed. This is what memory reconsolidation research suggests, and it may explain why certain precise interventions produce lasting resolution rather than temporary relief.

Alan works at the intersection of professional skill development and resolution-oriented intervention. His approach draws from an integrative framework including transactional analysis, redecision therapy, NLP, memory reconsolidation, and Logosynthesis® — with a particular focus on why patterns maintain themselves, and how to intervene precisely at that level. He holds a BA in Adult Education and brings more than twenty years of clinical experience across phenomenological, transpersonal, and integrative orientations. He is the only Latino Logosynthesis Practitioner and Instructor globally and works in English, Spanish, and French.
