The Working Session · Logosynthesis® Online
Your own work,
done properly.
Logosynthesis session online — personal work for therapists and coaches in training. UK · Ireland · USA · Australia.
A Logosynthesis session online for therapists and coaches who have completed the Basic Seminar and want to experience the method from the inside. Fifty minutes of personal process work with a senior practitioner, open to trainees and practitioners worldwide.
An optional clinical debrief — on request, when the work is ready for it — turns the session into a dual-track formation experience: personal growth and professional learning in the same hour.
Why this exists
Personal work for therapists and coaches — learned from the inside.
There is a limit to what can be learned about Logosynthesis® by observing it, studying it, or practising it only with peers. The practitioner who has experienced the method as a client — who knows what it feels like when a sentence lands precisely, when something that has held for years begins to release — brings a different quality to their clinical work than one who has not.
The Working Session is a Logosynthesis session online — a full individual session with a senior practitioner, offered to trainees as part of their ongoing Logosynthesis® training. A format and price that makes regular practitioner personal work genuinely accessible, wherever you are based.
The practitioner's own work is not separate from their clinical formation. It is the formation.
You bring whatever is present — a pattern, a belief, a recurring experience, something from your clinical practice that is also yours. The session follows the work wherever it needs to go. What you receive as a client deepens directly into how you work as a practitioner.
The format
One session. Two possibilities.
Every Working Session is 50 minutes. How that time is used depends on what you need.
Option A
Full processing session
The entire 50 minutes is yours for personal work. You bring whatever is present. The session follows the work wherever it needs to go — no debrief, no switch of gears. The process is complete in itself.
Option B
Processing with clinical debrief
You request this at the start of the session or at a natural moment of completion toward the end. If you are sufficiently grounded, we shift roles and spend the remaining time in a clinical conversation: what was happening in the interventions, what you noticed, what questions have opened.
Process first — an ethical note
The debrief is available on request. It is not automatic, and it does not happen on a fixed schedule. If at any point the work is unfinished — if you are still processing, if shifting gears would interrupt something important — we stay in the work.
This is not a clinical judgment that overrides your request. It is a conversation, made explicit at the outset, in service of protecting what the session has opened. Process comes first. The clinical conversation is a gift the work makes possible when it is ready to give it.
Who this is for
For therapists and coaches in Logosynthesis training.
This is for you if
- You have completed or are completing the Logosynthesis® Basic Seminar
- You want to experience the method as a client, not only as a practitioner
- You have personal material you want to work — patterns, beliefs, recurring experiences
- You are curious about what the interventions feel like from the inside
- You want a senior practitioner's full attention on your process, not a peer practice group
- You are developing your clinical work and want the formation that comes from personal experience
This is not for you if
- You have not yet encountered Logosynthesis® through a formal training or the Basic Seminar
- You are looking for ongoing individual therapy rather than formation work — if that is what you need, individual therapy with Alan is available separately
- You want primarily a supervision session on client cases — see the supervision page for that

Before you book
What to expect — and what this is not
Do I need to have completed the Basic Seminar?
Yes. The Working Session is designed for practitioners who have encountered Logosynthesis® through a formal training context — ideally the Basic Seminar, or who are currently enrolled in one. The session assumes familiarity with the Logosynthesis framework.
If you are not yet a seminar participant and want to experience Logosynthesis® for the first time, the free monthly webinar is the right entry point — it includes a live demonstration.
What do I bring to the session?
Anything that is present for you — a recurring pattern, a belief that feels fixed, something from your clinical practice that is also yours, an experience you keep returning to. You do not need to arrive with a prepared topic or a specific formulation. The work begins from wherever you are, including feeling confused and not knowing what to work on.
How does the debrief work, exactly?
If you want a clinical debrief, you say so at the beginning of the session or at a natural point of completion toward the end. If the work is sufficiently resolved and you are grounded, we shift gears and use the remaining time for a clinical conversation — what was happening in the interventions, what you noticed, what questions have opened.
If the work is not yet complete or you are still processing, we stay with the process. The debrief happens when the session is ready for it — not on a fixed schedule. This is something we make explicit together at the start.
Is this the same as individual supervision?
No. Supervision focuses on your clinical work with clients — the cases you are carrying, the interventions you are making. The Working Session focuses on your own material — the patterns, beliefs, and experiences on your path.
The optional debrief introduces a professional learning dimension, but the session begins and remains grounded in your personal process. If you are looking for clinical supervision, the supervision page describes that offer.
Can I book more than one session?
Yes — and ongoing personal work is where the formation deepens. A single session opens something. Regular sessions consolidate it. There is no package required and no minimum commitment — you book when you are ready, at the same rate.
Which languages are available?
Sessions are available in English, Spanish, and French. If you have a preference, note it when booking.
