Logosynthesis® Open Sessions Online | In the Room — Andes Institute
IN THE ROOM · LOGOSYNTHESIS® OPEN SESSIONS

Something shifts when you experience it,
not just read about it.

Real work. Real people. Witnessed in real time.

In the Room is a series of live Logosynthesis® open sessions online — a small-group format in which Alan works briefly with two or three volunteers, real material and real process, while the rest of the group witnesses closely. Three sessions, every two weeks. Something about watching Logosynthesis® happen with real people changes how the method lands: not just what it does for the person in the work, but what becomes visible about how and why it works.

Dates May 2, 16 & 30, 2026

Format Online via Zoom · small group
Investment €180 · full cohort
Reading about a method is one thing.
Being in the room when it works is another.
The Format

How Logosynthesis® open sessions work.
Three sessions. A small group that witnesses.

Each session follows the same rhythm. The group opens with a brief check-in — enough to settle, not enough to fill the time. Then Alan works with two or three volunteers in turn: each brings a piece of real material, and a Piece of Work follows. The group witnesses closely. Afterward, there is space to reflect on what was observed — what moved in the person being worked with, and what became legible about the work itself.

No one is required to volunteer. Witnessing is full participation. Something shifts in watching closely — patterns become visible that are harder to see from the inside.

Sessions are not recorded — this is intentional. The work requires a space where people can bring real material without reservation. What happens in the room stays there.

01

Opening check-in

Brief. Enough to settle the group and arrive together before the work begins.

02

Logosynthesis® Pieces of Work

Two or three volunteers in turn. Each brings real material. Alan works briefly with each. The group witnesses in full attention.

03

Group processing

Space to reflect on what was observed, what moved, what became visible in watching rather than doing.

Who This Is For

Who Logosynthesis® open sessions are for —
and what you can expect to take away.

In the Room is not a lecture, a webinar, or a therapy course. It is an experiential format — you come with something real, or you come to witness. Either way, something about the way Logosynthesis® works becomes clear in a way that description alone cannot produce. New to Logosynthesis®? Start with an overview of the method →

This is for you if:

  • You are curious about Logosynthesis® and want to encounter the method directly — before making any further commitment.
  • You have a specific pattern or theme you want to explore, in a group context rather than alone.
  • You want to understand whether individual Logosynthesis® therapy is right for you — and want a low-pressure way to find out.
  • You learn from witnessing — from watching closely, not just doing.

This is not for you if:

  • You are looking for a structured psychotherapy programme or individual therapeutic process.
  • You need a private space to work on significant current distress — individual sessions are the right format for that.
  • You are primarily looking for a social or community experience — The Circle is the right place for that.
The Structure

The structure of each Logosynthesis® open session.

In the Room runs as a three-session cohort, every two weeks. It is offered once per semester. Places are limited — registration closes when the cohort is full.

Sessions 3 every two weeks
Duration 120min per session
Total 6hrs across the cohort
Per semester 1× limited places
In the Room is a personal development format — not individual psychotherapy and not a professional training programme. If you are looking for a sustained individual therapeutic process, see Logosynthesis® Therapy.
The Facilitator
Alan Rojas Yacolca, Integrative Psychotherapist and Logosynthesis® Practitioner and Instructor

Alan Rojas Yacolca

Integrative Psychotherapist · Logosynthesis® Practitioner and Instructor

Alan has more than twenty years of clinical experience across phenomenological, transpersonal, and integrative frameworks. He works with the Logosynthesis® method in individual therapy, group formats, and professional formation — and brings the same quality of attention to all three.

His work in the room is precise, warm, and unhurried. He does not demonstrate a technique. He does the work.

Questions

Common questions about Logosynthesis® open sessions.

Do I have to volunteer to be worked with?

No. Witnessing is full participation — many people find that the experience of watching closely, without the pressure to speak, is exactly what they needed. You are never required to volunteer.

Are the sessions recorded?

No. Sessions are not recorded — this is intentional. The work requires a space where people can bring real material without reservation. What happens in the room stays there.

What is a Logosynthesis® Piece of Work?

A Piece of Work is a brief Logosynthesis® session — Alan works with one person on a specific piece of material they bring. It is not a full therapeutic process; it is a focused exchange, contained in the session, witnessed by the group. Two or three happen in each 120-minute session.

Is this group therapy?

It is a group personal development experience that uses Logosynthesis® as its method. It is not a structured psychotherapy group, and it does not replace individual therapeutic work.

What if the cohort is full?

Places are limited. Registration closes once the cohort is full. If you are interested in a future cohort, join the community — programme announcements reach community members first.

How does this relate to the Logosynthesis® Basic Seminar?

They serve different purposes. The Logosynthesis® Basic Seminar is a professional formation programme for therapists and coaches — 18 CPD hours, full theoretical curriculum, LIA certification pathway. In the Room is a personal development experience open to anyone curious about the method. One does not lead to the other, though they often deepen interest in the same direction.

I'm interested in individual Logosynthesis® therapy. Is this the right starting point?

It can be. Some people find that attending In the Room clarifies whether individual therapy feels like the right next step. You are welcome to book an individual session directly. There is no requirement to come here first.
