Andes Institute

Scope of Application

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the Andes Institute website, programs, educational materials, events, communications, and non-clinical professional services.

They apply to all users, visitors, participants, and purchasers engaging with the Andes Institute outside of clinical or therapeutic services.

Clinical services offered through the Andes Institute Clinic are governed by separate Terms of Service and Privacy & Confidentiality provisions.

Nature of Services

The Andes Institute is an educational and formative institution.

Its activities include:

  • professional training programs,

  • educational events and webinars,

  • supervision and reflective professional support,

  • dissemination of conceptual and instructional materials.

Institute services are educational and professional in nature.
They do not constitute medical care, psychotherapy, psychiatric treatment, clinical diagnosis, or crisis intervention.

Participation in Institute activities does not establish a therapeutic, medical, or healthcare relationship.

No Guarantees or Outcomes

The Andes Institute does not guarantee:

  • professional certification or licensure,

  • specific outcomes, results, or professional advancement,

  • suitability of its programs for regulatory or statutory requirements in any jurisdiction.

Participants remain responsible for ensuring that any training or education aligns with their professional, ethical, and regulatory obligations.

Differentiation of Functions

The Andes Institute maintains clear differentiation between:

  • training and education,

  • supervision and professional development,

  • therapy and clinical services.

Training and supervision are not substitutes for therapy.
Therapy is offered only through the Andes Institute Clinic under separate contractual terms.

Intellectual Property

All content provided by the Andes Institute, including texts, recordings, frameworks, materials, and visual assets, is the intellectual property of the Institute or its licensors.

Content may not be reproduced, distributed, modified, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

Limited personal and professional use is permitted solely for educational purposes within the scope of participation.

Conduct and Participation

Participants are expected to engage responsibly and professionally.

The Andes Institute reserves the right to:

  • restrict access,

  • suspend participation,

  • or terminate engagement

where conduct is disruptive, unethical, or inconsistent with the Institute’s scope or standards.

Fees, Refunds, and Cancellations

Fees for programs, events, or services are stated at the point of purchase or registration.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise:

  • fees are non-refundable,

  • missed sessions or events are not credited,

  • transfers or substitutions are not guaranteed.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Andes Institute shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in its services or use of its materials.

Participation is undertaken at the user’s own professional discretion and responsibility.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Peru.

Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Peru, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.

Acceptance of Terms

Use of the Andes Institute website or participation in its services constitutes acceptance of these Terms of Service.
